169 Blood Donors Detected Virus
Baku / 09/18/19 / Turan: A virus was detected in 169 people who took part in a donor blood donation campaign. This was reported in the Ministry of Health.
"No HIV-infected were found among donors.
In 44 people, HbsAg (hepatitis B) was detected, 76 - HCV (hepatitis C), and 49 - syphilis. Samples in which viruses were detected were neutralized in the appropriate order," the Ministry of Health said.
On September 10, on the occasion of the Shiite day of Ashura mourning, 5,809 people took part in donor blood donation events in mosques, shrines and medical institutions.
They collected 2,614.1 liters of blood. -06D--
