26 kg of heroin seized from drug dealers in Binagadi district
Baku/23.08.23/Turan: Drug dealers were detained in the Binagadi district of the capital, and 26 kg of heroin and methamphetamine were seized.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, drug traffickers Fahri Hasanzade, Talat Muradov and his brother Nijat were initially detained. They showed that they had purchased drugs from a man named Kenan.
Soon there was a resident of the capital, Kenan Safarov, and 20 kg of heroin, 2 kg of methamphetamine, 127 psychotropic pills and electronic scales were found at his house.
Kenan Safarov testified that he received drugs from an Iranian citizen, whom he met through Instagram.
During the next police operation, Rafik Mammadov, previously convicted of drug trafficking, was also detained. He was found to have more than 4 kg of heroin. Mammadov said that he also received drugs from an Iranian citizen named "Sarhad", with whom he met through the TikTok social network in order to sell it.
The investigation department of the Binagadi district Police Department continues to investigate all cases, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
