7560 hectares have been cleared of mines on liberated territories after end of war - ANAMA
Baku/03.22/Turan: From 1 to 28 February 2022, 96 antipersonnel mines, 63 anti-tank mines and 601 unexploded ordnance were found and cleared during demining operations in Tartar, Agdam, Fizuli, Shusha, Gubadly, Jabrail and Zangilan. This was reported by the Azerbaijani Demining Agency (ANAMA) on March 3.
In the reviewed period, 379.6 hectares were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
From November 10, 2020 to February 28, 2022, 10,600 anti-personnel mines, 4,865 anti-tank mines and 14,045 pieces of unexploded ordnance were found and cleared on the liberated areas.
Total 7,560 hectares have so far been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.-05D-
