A close relative of the minister found hanged
On 20 June a businessman Mazahir Jafarov June 20, was found dead in his apartment in Baku Hasan Aliyev Street. The Narimanov district Prosecutor's Office of Baku filed a a lawsuit under the Article 125 (bringing to suicide), the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Jafarov, was a director of "STS" and "Sahil D Companu", as well as brother-head of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov.
On 21 March, based on complaints from citizens Jafarov was detained, the Office for Combating Corruption Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit under the Articles 308.1 (abuse of power) and 178.3.2 (fraud). Jafarov was engaged in building houses, falsifying documents, he sold the same apartment to different people, by assigning 4. 458.000 manats.
During the investigation Jafarov returned people 1. 242.000 manats, and was released on bail.
In March the lawsuit was sent to the Baku Serious Crimes Court.
Jafarov is a close relative of the brothers Ibrahimovs - Head of "Avesta" Ibrahim Ibrahimli, building a scandalous project "Caspian Islands" and the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov. -03B-
