A Pakistani citizen was detained while trying to illegally cross the border in the direction of Georgia
Baku/22.11.23/Turan: Azerbaijani border guards stopped an attempt to violate the border near the village of Pochtbina in Balakan region.
The incident took place on November 21, when a Pakistani citizen, Azan Sozail Mohammed, born in 2001, was detained while attempting to violate the border in the direction of Georgia for the purpose of further migration to one of the European countries.
Operational and investigative measures are continuing to identify and neutralize the channel of illegal migration, the state border service said in a statement. –06B-
