A participant of a one-man rally is arrested for 30 days (UPDATED)
Baku/ 29.01.19/Turan: Father of a RafaelHuseynzade detained on May 25 for holding a single protest rally demanding the release of political prisoners, was not allowed to meet with his son in the isolator for the administrative detention, the father Fizuli Huseynov told Turan.
"In the Binagadi detention center, they accepted the things I brought to Raphael. But they did not allow the meeting,"said F. Huseynov.
According to him, today the cellmate of his son was released.
"This man said he was in the same cell with Rafael. My son was given 30 days. He said that my son was not subjected to physical pressure,"said F.Huseynov.
Onwebsite of the Nasimicourt it was reported that R. Huseynzade was prosecuted under Article 535.1 (non-subordination of the police) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
However, what punishment was imposed on him was not indicated on the website.
