A soldier of the “N” military unit of the Defense Ministry, Mazakhir Abdullayev committed a suicide. Press-service of the Ministry of Defense confirmed the fact, not explaining the reasons for suicide , as well as places where it happened. Military Prosecutor Office filed a lawsuit on the matter.
Abdullayev, born in 1992, was called to military service in January 2013.
This is the second case of suicide soldiers since the beginning of the year. On January 1 Rahim Ismailov committed a suicide; he was called from the Geygel region.
According to the "Doctrine" center of journalistic military research in 2013, losses of the armed forces of Azerbaijan totaled 81 people, including 11 soldiers who died in the conflict zone, and 69 soldiers died in non-combat.-16D06-
