A Tourist from Azerbaijan Beats his Father-in-Law in Israel
A court in Hadar, an Israeli city, extended the detention of 53-year-old citizen of Azerbaijan, Abdulayeva Yasin until April 4. Yasin who arrived in the country as a tourist, is suspected of beating his 75-year-old father-in-law, who is deaf and mute.
According to IzRus cite, in reference to the police; the incident occurred on the evening of April 1.
While patrolling the streets of Hadera city, police heard screams and the sound of breaking glass coming from an apartment building. A neighbor of the family, who received the guests from the Caucasus, showed the police officer the apartment. Breaking into the apartment, the police officer saw Abdullayev beating the 75-year-old man. When the police officer intervened, he was also attacked. However, the police officer had a stun gun, and was able to cope with the attacking tourist.
The arrested Azerbaijani denies any involvement in the beating of the deaf relative. Police continues to interview witnesses. -02D-
