About Four Kilograms of Drugs Seized from Illegal Circulation
Baku / 31.01.18 / Turan: As a result of the operational-search activities conducted by police officers in various regions of the country, about 4 kg of drugs were withdrawn from illegal circulation.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, employees of the 12th branch of the Sabunchu regional police department detained a resident of the Ramana settlement, a suspect in drug trafficking, previously convicted Ali Hamidov.
During the personal inspection and next to his house they found more than 2 kg of heroin hidden in the bushes.
Employees of the Garadagh district police department detained a resident of Gobustan, previously convicted Arif Ismayilov, and seized 1.64 kg of heroin from him. And employees of the Masalli district police department detained Zohrab Azizov. During the search, 125 grams of marijuana was seized from his house, as well as short-cut double-barrel IZh-16 gun.
Criminal cases have been started on the facts, and the investigation is under way. -06D--
