Actions in Defense of Azerbaijani Political Prisoners in Belgium
Established by the Azerbaijani political émigrés, International Human Rights Protection Association (IHRPA) will hold a series of events in the cities of the country in support of political prisoners in Azerbaijan.
According to the IHRPA Vice President Hajar Abbasova, on December 23 an action will take place in defense of the rights of youth activists Bayram Mammadov and Giyas Ibrahimov.
These young men were sentenced to 10 years on charges of drugs, but the true reason was the graffiti on the monument to Heydar Aliyev.
According to Abbasova, the organization also plans actions in support of other political prisoners. -06B--
