Aggravation in the western part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border
Baku / 05.10.19 / Turan: In recent days, skirmishes have increased in the western section of the state border of Azerbaijan and Armenia. As a result, two were killed and three wounded on the Armenian side. Four of the victims were military, and one was civilian.
On the Azerbaijani side, one dead military man and one civilian wounded were reported.
According to reports, both sides are keen to stop engineering along the border. Therefore, information about shelled trucks and excavators is increasingly appearing in bulletins. That is why, part of the wounded and dead are drivers of this civilian vehicle. -02B-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony. The invitation, delivered by Member of the European Parliament Michael Bloss at the COP29 climate conference, comes as Ibadoglu remains under house arrest and prohibited from leaving Azerbaijan.
