Aggravation of Situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani Border
Baku / 25.09.15 / Turan- ArmInfo: On the night of September 25 at the Armenian-Azeri border as a result of a massive firefight in the Tavush region of Armenia, three civilians in the villages Parvakar and Berdavan were killed, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
In the response, the Azerbaijani side lost several people killed and wounded. In particular, the response fire destroyed two positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, according to the Armenian side.
In turn, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that on September 23 in the village Kemerli of the Gazakh region, gunfire from the Armenian wounded the villager Esmira Dursunova and the Azerbaijani side took retaliatory measures.
Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry called false the Armenian messages about the losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. The military leadership of Azerbaijan also denied allegations of shelling civilians.
"The Armed Forces have been ordered not to open fire on civilians, but any military facility and manpower will be destroyed. Responsibility for the placement of military objects in the midst of civilian settlements and for harm to the civilians lies with the authorities of Armenia," the statement said. -02D-
