Deputy of the Milli Majlis, the wife of the President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva as a legislative initiative submitted a draft amnesty act on the occasion of the Republic Day on 28 May, announced today at a meeting of Parliament First Vice Speaker Ziyafat Asgarov. According to him, the project provides for an amnesty of about 10 thousand people, including 3,500 convicted persons. In turn, the leader of the Democratic Reforms Party, MP Asim Mollazade told Turan, that the document will be discussed on May 20.
