An Armenian church “appeared” on the territory of Jeyranbatan reservoir
Baku/22.10.22 / Turan: This week, the world search engine Google Earth presented Azerbaijan with another toponymic "surprise".
We were surprised to learn that it turns out to be on the territory of the Jeyranbatan reservoir (30 km from Baku) there is an Armenian church called "Church of the Holy Mother of God".
It is noteworthy that the church is indicated in an empty place and there is no picture. Uninformed people may think that there really was once a church, which was destroyed by the "treacherous" Azerbaijanis. However, there never was a church in this place and could not be, by definition.
Official Baku has repeatedly drawn the attention of Google to such facts. Some of the claims were satisfied, but it seems the Armenian fantasies are boundless. -02B-
