In January 2013, the National Agency for Mine Action, ANAMA, cleared 2,293,167 square meters of unexploded ordnance; 1469 unexploded ammunition and eight anti-tank mines were cleared.
Over the entire period ANAMA cleared 216,585,066 square meters, and made harmless 677,639 mines and ammunition.
Mine action continues in Agdam, Agjabedi, Agstafa, Fizuli, Tartar regions, and in the Garadagh district of Baku.
In January this year, no mine explosions were registered. -05D04-
