Another Landslide Occurs on Bayil Slope
Baku / 10/17/18 / Turan: Along with the continued activation of the landslide process in the territory between the 20rg Section and Badamdar, today, the earth also collapsed on the Bayil slope near the Bibi Heybat mosque. Here a part of the supporting wall collapsed.
Meanwhile, the headquarters of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) created in the landslide zone in Badamdar reports that according to data at 9.00 in the landslide zone an increase in the volume of earth masses in the direction of the road is observed. "The precipitations caused the mass of rocks to become heavier, and in several places collapses occurred," the headquarters said in a statement. --03D06 ---

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
