Another Relative of Political Emigrant Arrested
Baku / 30.04.18 / Turan: The activist and blogger Ordukhan Temirkhan, who is in political emigration in Europe, announced the arrest of his nephew Tural Aliyev.
A 19-year-old student of the chemical faculty of the Baku State University was detained about the afternoon of April 27.
The young man was detained for a day in the department for combating corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and then the court arrested him for 2 months for disobeying the police.
As early as February, Temirkhan reported the arrest of his nephews Sabuhi Zeynalov and Tural Aliyev for 30 days. A year ago, police detained more than 10 blogger relatives, including an infant. Later, two relatives were arrested in administrative order. The activist stated that his relatives were being persecuted because of the protests organized by him in Europe against the Azerbaijani authorities. -06D-
