Artillery shell found in Yeni Yashma village, Khyzy district
An artillery shell suitable for use was found in the village of Yeni Yashma in Khyzy district, the Emergency Situations Ministry said today.
A mine clearance task force of the Emergency Situations Ministry's special risk rescue service was sent to the scene.
The found ammunition turned out to be a usable 76 mm. artillery shell ‘OF-350’.
The munition was seized by the task force specialists for further neutralisation.
No dangerous or suspicious objects were found at the scene and the surrounding area during additional inspection, the Emergency Situations Ministry press release concluded.

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
