At the exhibition ADEX-2016 will be presented 260 samples of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan
Baku / 17.11.19 / Turan: The demand for weapons produced in Azerbaijan have increased significantly abroad, said at a press conference on Thursday Deputy Minister of Defense Industry Yahya Musayev. The press conference was held on the occasion of the upcoming Defense Industry Exhibition ADEX-2016 on September 27-30 in Baku. According to Musayev, at the exhibition will presented 260 samples of production of defense industry of Azerbaijan.
This is the second exhibition of military products, carried out in Azerbaijan.
This year during the first three days of the exhibition the attending will be by invitation only, but on the fourth day will be an open house and everyone will be able to get acquainted with the exposition.
Musayev noted growing interest abroad the in weapons produced in Azerbaijan. According to him, due to the large number of orders, the Ministry of Defense Industry has even been forced to give up the orders in some countries. The orders come mainly from Europe, Africa and Asia.
According to Mammadov, the Azerbaijani products are of quality, and are sold at world market prices.
On the other hand, acquiring modern technologies, Azerbaijan is able to independently produce ammunition and equipment to ensure to the extent its army. A total of ADEX-2016 exhibition will involve 216 companies from 34 countries, and 25 official delegations from 19 countries.-06D--
