Ativist of the PPFA is arrested
On 25 November the youth activists of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Islam Sahiboglu was arrested administratively for 30 days, Turan was told by the deputy chairman of PFPA Gezyal Bayramli. He was arrested on Friday morning and taken to the 29th Yasamal District Police Department. "In the evening he called and said that by the decision of the Yasamal District Court Islam Sahib oglu was arrested for 30 days on charges of not subordinate police," said Bayramli. She called the arrest of activist "illegal". "Government policy of repression against the PPFA continues," she said. In recent weeks, at least five APFP activists were arrested administratively. Law enforcement agencies do not comment on recent arrests of PPFA activists.-03B-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
