Authorities Binagadi district ignore the rights of the owner
Executive Power of Binagadi district of Baku seriously violated the rights of the owner of Rauf Akhundov.
A senior fellow of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Docent Akhundov built car garage of 21.8 square meters. m in the courtyard of N20 in the 8th district, and has a document issued by the State Committee on Property.
However, a month and a half ago members of the executive authorities of the area demanded that he voluntarily demolished the garage, which is necessary for "the state needs."
Akhundov was received by the First Deputy of the Executive Power Gazanfar Novruzov, and he promised to send the evaluation commission to calculate the compensation due to him. However, instead of commission, on March 9 workers came and demolished a nearby garage, thoroughly damaging the garage by Akhundov.
The actions of authorities are illegal, since the decision to transfer land for public needs must be formalized. In addition, the solutions for the alienation of the property should be made at the cabinet level. Without these documents it is impossible to decide on compensation.
Rauf Akhundov hopes for a just settlement, otherwise he intends to apply to the courts and to the government, if necessary, to international institutions.
