Authorities Cannot Explain How Bus Ran Over Austrian Athletes
Horrible footage of a coach hitting a group of athletes - Austrian team members spread on the Internet today. The incident occurred on June 11 in the early morning on the territory of the village of athletes.
On the footage it can be seen that the bus was going at high speed and, cornering, knocked down a group of girls.
The incident so far has not been explained. The Organizing Committee of the European Games has promised to come up with the details, but it did not happen. The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry also does not comment on the incident.
So far, only the Minister of Sport Azad Rahimov said that Azerbaijan undertakes the treatment of the injured athletes.
Note that seriously injured were three girls, who have numerous and severe fractures. They were taken to Austria for treatment. -02B-
