Authorities Finally Recognize Involvement in Blocking of Opposition Websites
Baku / 27.04.17 / Turan: The filing of a lawsuit on behalf of the Electronic Security Center of the Ministry of Communications against opposition websites is an attempt to "legitimize" what has been happening for a long time.
In addition, it confirms that it is the government that is behind the blockage, although until now they have denied it.
Ganimat Zahid, the editor-in-chief of the website azadliq.info, the head of the television programs Azerbaijan Hour and the TV channel TuranTV broadcasting via satellite and the Internet from outside Azerbaijan, told this to Turan.
He does not expect a fair trial from the court, since this is a political order.
In addition to these resources, the Electronic Security Center, on the proposal of the General Prosecutor's Office, also initiated the blocking of the websites of Radio Azadliq and Meydan.TV. -70B06--
