Baku/27.12.21/Turan: On December 27, the Azerbaijani parliament adopted an amendment to the law "On Telecommunications" prohibiting access to lottery and sports betting sites. According to the amendment to the law, Internet providers and telecom operators are obliged to prevent the organization and conduct of gambling through telecommunications services.
This includes: organizing or selling tickets for gambling, participation in gambling, including access to a virtual environment in the country to foreign lottery organizers and sports betting operators. -02D-
