Azerbaijan Sets Up Branch of Moscow Medical University
By the order of the President, a branch of the First Moscow Medical University is created in Baku. This is reportedly done in order to improve medical education in the country.
The Cabinet of Ministers is commissioned to solve issues related to the establishment of the Baku branch of the First Moscow Medical University and to organize its logistics.
The government is also instructed to take measures for the allocation of seats on the basis of the state order for admission of students to the new school since the 2015/2016 academic year.
Note that in the country has had its own Medical University for more than 70 years. It annually produces thousands of doctors and health care workers.
The issue of employment of graduates of the university has long been a serious problem because of the oversupply of physicians. Therefore, the creation of another medical institution looks completely unfounded.
Another serious problem is the level of local medical specialists which has never been high.
The only explanation for this situation may be just that the First Moscow Medical University was attended by the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. -02B-
