The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan have started preparations for sending a specialized amphibian BE-200CS and other equipment needed to fight forest fires to Israel.
Sending forces and emergency funds in Israel is carried out at the request of the Israeli government, which appealed to the Azerbaijani authorities. This is stated in the press service of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan.
Note that with a similar request the Israeli authorities also appealed to Turkey.
In recent days near the city of Haifa arose strong fire, causing serious damage to forests and various buildings. The continuing high winds contribute to the expansion of fires. -02D-
