State Security Service Destroys Religious Radical in Khachmaz
On November 25 the State Security Service forces conducted an operation in the village Duztairoba of the Khachmaz region (northern Azerbaijan) to arrest a resident of the area Ramig Rahimov, born in 1974.
According to the law enforcement bodies, the man was a member of a radical religious group, which is involved in an armed conflict abroad. There were suspicions that Rahimov has firearms and explosives.
During the operation, Rahimov refused to obey the requirements of surrender and offered armed resistance. Returning fire, the operational group destroyed him. This is stated in the report of the Public Relations Center of the State Security Service. -02D-
