Azerbaijani customs prevented transit of 527 kg of heroin from Iran to Latvia
Baku/20.09.21/Turan: At the Bilasuvar customs post, Azerbaijani customs officials revealed a large batch of heroin when inspecting a Renault truck that going from Iran in transit through Azerbaijan.
The documentation indicated that the vehicle was carrying a cargo of chemicals and was driven by Iranian citizen Siasati Ashkan Bahmani, reports the State Customs Committee. The presence of drugs was discovered by a service dog, the Azerbaijani Customs Committee said.
During the inspection of the car, 105 packages of heroin were found, with a total weight of 527.6 kg. -02D-
