Azerbaijani Diplomat Attacked in Moscow
On the night of 16 April the head of the consular department of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moscow, Emil Maharramov was attacked by a taxi driver, when using the taxi. According to sources in the embassy, the diplomat was injured and taken to hospital.
An investigation started and the embassy is taking steps to clarify the circumstances of the incident, the spokesman of the embassy said.
In turn, the Russian media reported that the diplomat was attacked by a taxi driver named Khaybula Hajiyev, who has been already detained. The causes of the incident and the severity of the injuries have not been reported. -03D-

The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
