Azerbaijani journalists commemorate their prominent colleagues
On 22 June, the National Press Day of Azerbaijan, a group of journalists of Turan agency, the newspaper "Azadlig" and "Khural" newspaper traditionally commemorated Hasan bey Zardabi, founder of the first Azerbaijani newspaper "Ekinchi" (The Sower), published in 1875 and put flowers to his tombstone in the Alley of Honor.
Red carnations were laid on the grave of Najaf Najafov, a symbol of modern independent Azerbaijani Press, and editor of the magazine "Monitor" Elmar Huseynov who was treacherously murdered in 2005.-0-
