"Azərpoçt" warns Internet users
Baku / 28.08.18 / Turan: "Azərpoçt" LLC urged the population not to open messages coming under its old log. So, these messages can be used to deceive the population in order to obtain the numbers of their bank cards to withdraw money from them.
In the message of the state postal enterprise it is indicated that in recent years messages have been sent under the old log of this structure, in which it is stated that the addressee became one of every 10 users who are given the chance to win the "Gift card" or "İphone X".
The users are requested to collect the data of the bank card for preliminary payment of the tax amount of the gift, after which it will be provided to the "lucky ones". Attackers who receive these bank cards are taken out of the city and all the citizens' funds are appropriated.
The Electronic Security Center of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies warns citizens that if you use the Internet, a web browser targets from www.yetill.com, it means that your mobile device or computer is infected with a malicious program (adware). In this case, unwanted advertising comes to the phone from the "pop-up" site.
In addition, when the site www.yetill.com is opened, the user clicks the message "If you are 18+, then click", then despite closing your browser, "pop-up" ads will appear on the screen of your mobile phone or desktop computer.
This allows to read the IP address, the version of the web browser, the country of residence and the user's data in order to promise large amounts of money and winnings to deceive him. The Center for Electronic Security to solve the problem advises using the Windows control panel to clear the latest downloads from malicious programs. -03D06-
