Bayram Mammadov Case Sent to Court
The preliminary investigation against the NIDA activist Bayram Mammadov has been completed and transferred to the Baku Court of Grave Crimes. In the near future the date of the preparatory hearing will be known, the activist’s lawyer Elchin Sadigov told Turan.
Recall that Giyas Ibrahimov and Bayram Mammadov are accused of drug trafficking on a large scale. However, the true reason for their arrest was graffiti on the monument to Heydar Aliyev: "Congratulations on slavery!" and "Down with the system!" The case against Ibrahimov is already on trial.
