Border service and Interior Ministry detained another drug dealers
Baku/07.09.22/Turan: An attempt to violate the state border was recorded on September 4 at 07:00 near the village of Shakhsevan-1 of Beylagan region. The violator did not obey the order of the border guards to stop and disappeared, but an hour later he was discovered and detained, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan reported on Wednesday.
The violator turned out to be previously convicted Afghan Imamverdi oglu Shukyurov, born in 1981. During a personal inspection, a package with 6 kg 108 g of narcotic substances (marijuana, methamphetamine and methadone tablets-40) was seized from him. An investigation is underway.
In turn, the Interior Ministry reported on the detention of drug dealers from Baku in Geychay: Chingiz Ahmadzade and Ilkin Gurbanly.
During their search, there were extracted half a kilogram of heroin, half a kilogram of opium, 100 grams of methamphetamine and 300 tramadol tablets, the press service of the Interior Ministry reported.
It was established that the detainees are drug couriers of a foreign trader who smuggles drugs into Azerbaijan.
Ahmadzade and Gurbanly were caught red-handed while taking drugs from an agreed place for subsequent sale in Baku. In fact, a criminal case has been initiated, both detainees have been arrested. -05B06-
