Border Service Seized 480 Kilograms of Drugs in March
The State Border Service of Azerbaijan detained 38 people for trespassing in March, including 16 citizens of Azerbaijan, 7 of Bangladesh, 4 of Uzbekistan, 4 of Georgia, 3 of Nigeria, 1 of Iran, 1 of Belgium, 1 of Turkey and 1 of Moldova.
As stated in the State Border Service report, in the same period they foiled transport of narcotic drugs with total weight of more than 478 kg through the border.
They halted 93 cases of smuggling goods worth 20 million 121 thousand manats. At the same time they withdrew 1 pistol, 1 air rifle, 1 hunting rifle, 1 9-mm cartridge, 3 12-mm cartridges, 1 taser, brass knuckles (1), 48,916 dollars, 25,626 packs of cigarettes, 1,900 grams of jewels, 13 mobile phones, various types of drugs, alcoholic beverages, industrial and agricultural goods. -03D-

This year, 22,000 foreign language teachers and an additional 4,000 teachers who were unable to pass certification last year will be involved in the certification process, the director of the state agency for preschool and general education, Eshgi Bagirov, announced on February 12.
