Brother of a believer arrested in Guba also detained
Today in Guba, Rustov Vafadar Mammadov, a 25 year-old resident of the village and the brother of the believer Vafanur Mammadov arrested the day before, was detained. The cousin of the arrested, a local human rights activist, Avtandil Mammadov, told Turan.
According to him, Vafadar was detained by MNS in front of the courthouse in Guba where he had been at the trial of his father.
Vafanur was taken to Baku and is contained in the MNS jail. "I learned this from his lawyer on the phone," said Mammadov.
According to him, Vafanur Mammadov is incriminated for being a "radical believer."
"These brothers are not radicals. All that Vafanur did was to write a commentary on the social network Schoolmates (Odnoklassniki) about the detention of another local, Nizami Najafov.
After that, he tossed a grenade and was arrested. In this family, no men are left, as previously their father was arrested, too. This is a real reprisal against the family," said Mammadov . -06B-
