Ali Kerimli : We remain in the National Council
Baku/09.01.14/Turan : The leader of the Popular Front Party, Ali Kerimli, expressed attitude towards the exit of the party Musavat from the National Council. On his Facebook page, he quoted the Declaration on the Establishment of the National Council, which includes the goals and objectives of the social structure:
- Ensuring a peaceful transition from authoritarianism to democracy through elections
- To ensure stability during the transition period,
- Rule of law, human rights and freedoms, sustainable development of society.
- Protection of Azerbaijan's independence and territorial integrity.
Forces that entered the National Council say they will fight to return power to the people and ensure the provision of Article 1 of the Constitution.
"All this is recorded in the founding document, so how can we say that the goals and objectives of the National Council are not defined? How can we say that the National Council was created only to participate in the presidential election?" writes Kerimli.
He also recalls that when created the National Council took certain obligations to the people and community of the country. "These commitments cannot be refused halfway. Therefore, the support by PPFA to the National Council continues. We are not afraid of difficulties. We are willing to go the way through with those who are willing to be with us," said Kerimli .
Recall that the party Musavat left the National Council the day before. -03D-
