Builders Promise to Open Roads in Former Soviet Street Area by Early May
Baku / 08.04.17 / Turan: Builders of Azeravtoyol, leading the reconstruction of five streets in the area of Fizuli Square, the Tazapir Mosque and the former Soviet Street, assure that they will finish all these works by early May.
Work on the streets B. Mejidov (440 meters), Abdulla Shaig (1,825 meters) has been completed. At the completion stage are asphalting and construction of sidewalks in the area of the square in front of the State Statistics Committee.
On the former Soviet Street (now Narimanov Avenue) on the territory of more than 2 km works are underway to create modern road infrastructure and to expand the area. Work is also actively carried out in the neighboring streets: Mirzaaga Aliyev (750 meters) and Fizuli (800 meters). Completion of the entire work is planned by early May, the report said.
Note that the construction of the roads themselves does not mean the completion of construction in general. So, in the specified area demolition of old houses proceeds. Therefore, the completion of roads does not mean that they will be immediately put into operation.
In addition, the functioning of these routes is possible only in a complex, that is, to make it possible to move in all directions and connect to the existing routes. Doing all this in less than a month is not possible. -02D-
