Cheeky Murder in Style of 1990s
Baku / 21.12.18 / Turan: On the evening of December 20, a cheeky murder was committed in the Khatai district of Baku.
In the courtyard of his house, 45-year-old Fariz Vahabov was killed. According to unconfirmed information of the past, he worked for the abolished Ministry of National Security (MNS).
An unknown individual shot several times at him when Vahabov got out of his car. The man died on the spot, and the killer fled the crime scene.
The Khatai district prosecutor's office told Turan a criminal case was initiated under Articles 120.1 (murder) and 228.1 (illegal possession of weapons).
The motives for the crime are not yet known. There are no detainees. The identity of the suspects has not yet been established.
However, the district prosecutor's office did not confirm the information that the victim was a MNS officer in the past. The representative of the prosecutor's office noted that there was primary information that this person worked at MNS 6-7 years ago, but the information was not confirmed later. -02D-
