Climbers from Azerbaijan conquered Kazbek
Today, at 13:55, members of the Mountaineering Federation of Azerbaijan made a successful ascent of one of the highest peaks of the Caucasus - Mount Kazbek (5,047 m).
As stated in the press service of the Federation, the ascent involved athletes from several clubs, including Nikoilbank Mountain Sports Club and Gartal. The ascent was managed by the Climbing Federation President, Israfil Ashurly.
The ascent was a part of a training program held by members of the Federation. In the near future they will make several other ascents to meet sports categories. -02D-
