President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On the establishment of the Azerbaijan University of Information Technology." The head of state instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare within two months and submit a draft of the Charter of the University.
The government was also requested to provide a deduction from the state budget for 2013-14 years for the financing the activities of the University.
The Ministry of Education was instructed to ensure the education process jointly with the Ministry of Communications in 2013. –06D-
