Baku Customs Office conducted a raid in the shopping centers Bina and Sadarak where contraband was found. Some entrepreneurs, in violation of customs rules, tried to bring smuggled pyrotechnics and flammable products, said the Customs Committee.
During the operation the customs officers identified and seized 53,200 pieces of pyrotechnic products.
Recall that according to the decision of the local authorities, the use of flammable and noisy fireworks is prohibited. -05D-

Today, January 6, the pre-election campaign for municipal elections in Azerbaijan, scheduled for 23 days later, has officially begun. According to a statement from the State Border Service, an attempt to smuggle drugs into Azerbaijan was prevented during an operational search. The seizure included 700 grams of opium, over 13,000 tablets of Pregabalin 150, and 600 tablets of Methadone 40. The exact location and time of the incident have not been disclosed.
