"Defence Line" will hold a rally in defense of Bahtiyar Hajiyev, despite the ban of the authorities
Baku/20.12.22/Turan: The executive branch refused to authorize a protest action by the human rights organization "Defence Line" on December 23 at 15:00 at the Fountain Square in the center of Baku.
The protest rally is being organized to demand the release of activist Bahtiyar Hajiyev and other political prisoners, announced the director of the "Defense Line" Rufat Safarov.
He stressed that the organizers consider the decision of the city administration to be illegal and therefore will hold a demonstration. ---06B---

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
