Defense Ministry discusses modernization of Armed Forces
On October 10, Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh held in the Ministry of Defense meeting devoted to various aspects of the armed forces.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, the meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov, the Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of Defense Industry Yavar Jamalov, the Finance Minister Samir Sharifov, the Minister of Communications Ali Abbasov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Land Garib Mammadov, the Deputy Ministers of Defense, and other officials.
In accordance with the request of the President, the meeting discussed issues of modernization of military equipment, arms and ammunition, including the possibility of equipping new technological equipment, improvement of social conditions of the servicemen and other issues. -02D-
