Defense Ministry Reported Armed Clash on Front
On the night of December 4 on different parts of the front, "using the military-political situation in the region," the Armenian side attempted an attack on the positions of the Azerbaijani Army. It is reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry.
The enemy was seen and his actions were strongly suppressed. After suffering numerous losses, the enemy was forced to retreat, the information said.
From the Azerbaijani side an ensign was wounded, but there is no danger to his life.
As usual, the press service of Defense Ministry did not mention the specific location of the incident and other details.
The Armenian side has not commented on this information.
Around noon, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported its version of what happened. At 04:30 an Azerbaijani subversive group attempted to penetrate the Armenian side in the village of Talysh (the north-eastern section of the front).
According to the same source, during the clash the Azerbaijani side suffered losses and retreated. From the Armenian side a soldier Erik Grigoryan, born in 1995, was killed.-02D-
