Defense Ministry: we do not have POWs
Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied allegations that 25 Armenian soldiers were captured during the fighting on 2-4 April. In response to Turan agency inquiry, the military department spokesman said that Azerbaijani side has no prisoners of war.
The Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan today issued a statement that 25 Armenians were taken prisoners, and work is ongoing on their release or exchange.
In turn, the Red Cross workers in Yerevan and Baku confirmed that they had received requests for search and finding the fate of missing persons in the course of the current hostilities.-03В-
