Demolition zone in the region of the former Soviet street acquires contours
The old buildings in the former Soviet street have been demolished by 80%. At the vast area covering more than 20 hectares is being created a fenced area, which will soon begin work on the reconstruction of the area. Currently, the builders paved new road length of 150 meters, which go from the building of the Drama Theatre in the upper part of the city. At the same time, work is underway to expand the old streets, each of which becomes wider at 5-10 meters. They are the streets Medjdov B.A. Shaig, Narimanov (former Sovetskaya), M. Fuzuli and Aliyev streets. The builders do not say what will be in a fenced area. However, initially it was planned that this will be one of the largest recreation areas with parks of the capital, health centers, sports facilities, restaurants and cafes. It is also assumed that along the streets of the former Soviet several residential high-rises will be built. Gradually, the demolition area will be expanded in the direction of the mosque Taza Pir and towards the metro station "Nizami". After this, the upper part of the former Soviet Street will be demolished. -02В-
