In the Bar Association, disciplinary proceedings started against lawyer Elchin Sadigov. Sadigov, who reported this to Radio Azadlig, noted that in this connection he was invited to a meeting of the Board of the Bar Association, where he faced an aggressive attitude towards himself. "As it turned out, I wrote a complaint to the spouse of the former member of the Disciplinary Commission of Lawyers Sardar Gasimov, Gasymova Kyamala Elkhan Gyzy - as if I spread unreasonable and fictional information against her on social networks and websites. I said I did not write against her any expressions diminishing her personally. As a citizen and a lawyer, I have the right to freedom of expression." However, despite this, disciplinary proceedings against the lawyer began. According to Sadigov, the real reason may lie in the meeting of the lawyer with the EU President Donald Tusk and Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Miyatovic. "They probably thought that I criticized the situation with lawyers."
