District court dismissed claim from an official against journalist Zabil Mugabiloglu

The Narimanov district court dismissed the claim on criminal charges against the editor of the website Gunxeber.com and an employee of the newspaper Yeni Musavat, Zabil Mugabiloglu (Nadzhizade).

The suit was filed under Article 147.2 .2 (defamation of a felony) of the Criminal Code.

The plaintiff was the head of Culture and Tourism Department in Imishli, Suleiman Bashirov.

The lawsuit was filed on the May 30 message on the site Gunxeber.com entitled "Attestation bribe for William Hajiyev."

The article stated that, in the department of culture and tourism in Imishli appraisals are conducted without the participation of the Ministry of Culture.

At the same time, the head of the department, Bashirov requires workers a bribe for the successful certification.

According to the journalist's lawyer Elchin Sadigov, the court rejected the claim on the basis of violations of the law in the preparation of the statement of claim.

So, the lawsuit did not show the name of the journalist and his address.

Generally this case had nothing to do with the Narimanov region because neither the journalist nor the editorial team is registered on the territory of the district in terms of residence or location. . -06B-
