Editor of Religious Website Ilkin Mammadli Arrested for 22 Days
The acting editor of the religious site Azadxeber.net Ilkin Mammadli was arrested administratively for 22 days by the court's decision. According to the verdict, he committed an offense under article 296 ("hooliganism") of the Code of Administrative Offences. At the same time, it is not reported what exactly the journalist is guilty of.
Recall that Mammadov was detained in the village of Bakikhanov in the yard of the house where he lives.
The editor of the Azadxeber.org website Nijat Aliyev was also arrested in May 2012 after criticizing the song contest Eurovision in Baku. Later, he was charged with inciting religious hatred and illegal weapons possession and sentenced to 10 years in prison. -06D-

Judge Sabina Mamedzade ruled that Ahmedov should be sent for compulsory treatment.
