Entrepreneurs from Diglas Shopping Center Held Rally in Front of Cabinet of Ministers
Baku / 13.05.19 / Turan: Entrepreneurs from the shopping center Diglas today held a rally in front of the Cabinet Minister, demanding the payment of the promised compensation for the damage from the fire on March 26.
Despite the 1.5 months after the fire, they did not receive the compensation promised by the state.
"Contrary to the presidential decree, an act was not drawn up on the extent of the damage suffered. The act must be drawn up with our participation, but this is not done. The representatives of the shopping center themselves drafted an act. The timing of the payment of compensation is not reported. Every time we do not receive any clear answer to our questions," said one of the participants of the action.
Later, a group of protesters was received in the Cabinet. They were advised to wait a little, as the investigation continues. During the rally, security officers of the Cabinet of Ministers removed journalists, not allowing them to shoot.
The fire at the shopping center Diglas occurred on March 26. The five-story building almost completely burned out.
On May 28, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of a commission in connection with the fire at the Diglas shopping center, and the next day he signed an order on the provision of material assistance to the fire victims. -21D--
